Abstract (EN)

Under unfavorable soil conditions for buildings, the foundations on which superstructure loads are transferred are designed as deep foundations when necessary. For pile foundations designed to remain in the soil, the pile-soil interaction should be thoroughly tested and analyzed, as well as the interaction of pile behavior and soil behavior under load. The resistance of the pile to the load applied in a static loading test is a function of the relative motion between the pile and the soil. Analyzing the results of the static loading test is more than just a capacity concept fort he pile. Activating a single pile by acting as a load should be considered as the analysis of each small series of soil elements forming the soil by following the t-z and q-z functions of the interaction of the resulting shear forces. In addition, different types of elements, the pile and soil, mayvary along their lenght. These differences should be know throughout the depth of examination. In all these seemingly complex situations, examining the characteristics of the elements separately and relative to each other will provide security and convenience for the design. In this study, 9 instrumental axial static loading tests and 11 conventional pile loading tests were investigated. In order to model the pile-soil interaction as specified in TBDY 2018 dated 18/03/2018, shaft and toe resistances were defined with nonlinear relations. The test results were analyzed with t-z and q-z curves fort he lateral and tip soils interactions. With the help of strain gauges, friction distributions were obtained for each different soil layer. Instrumental tests have been approved to provide more accurate results, complementary and detailed data flow than traditional methods. Instrumented pile loading tests have increased the safety factor with a complete simulation and provide the opportunity to make corrections with all the data. Key Words: Pile-Soil interaction, t-z and q-z curves functions, geotechnical
