Ali Cevâd's Dutch, Germany and Russia Travelogue's tranfer from Ottoman Turkish constitute the main body of the thesis. Ali Cevâd's life, work, Dutch, Germany and Russia Travelogues and the role of gifting in Ottoman's protocal relationships. Besides these, the information about the kind of travelogue, travelogue in Turkish literature and European travelogues in Turkish literature ase given.
