Performance analysi̇s of outdoor lighting systems at Akasya and Akbatı shopping centers

The aim of this study is toinvesti gate, analyze, gather data regarding the façade lighting design as one of the building design criteria in the general design processandtolay down the basic criteri are lated with this subject. In these condand third chapters, the definition of lighting is given and lighting source sand techniques are determined. In the fourth chapter, national examples of out door lighting are given and in chapter five, lighting fixture costsand types are mentioned. In chapter six, the exterior façades of Akasya and Akbatı shopping malls are analyzedand in chapter seven, there sults of the surveyre garding Akasya and Akbatı shopping malls are examined. Outdoor lighting calculations were made using the Autocad and Dialüx programs. Attempts have been made to lay down the criteria of appreciation of the facade lighting by designing a survey and applying it to both people who use the mentioned shopping malls and people who don't visit those malls.
