Abstract (EN)
In the thesis, the production of well-designed aluminum extrusion dies for the extrusion procedure, which is a plastic shaping method, was tested to reduce the amount of scrap material from complex-shaped aluminum profiles and obtain quality profiles quickly. The producibility analysis of the desired aluminum profile was conducted, and the parameters required for profile production, such as press selection, die diameter, extrusion ratio, number of figures, and bolster, were determined. The die design was created using two-dimensional AutoCAD software. The aluminum extrusion process was simulated using Extrude Metal software. This simulation program helps predict the process based on factors such as temperature, speed, pressure, and billet. The aim of this method is to design molds more effectively without the need for really need trial and error, and to minimize the waste material during the extrusion process. This, in turn, aims to achieve higher product efficiency by using longer-lasting dies.
