Evulation of perioperative perception perceptions of operating room nurses

This research was carried out in a descriptive and cross-sectional type within the quantitative research design in order to determine the perioperative competence perceptions of operating room nurses. The population of the research consisted of operating room nurses who have been working in the operating room for at least one year of the health group, which has eighteen branches in different provinces in Turkey between June 2022 and June 2023. A population of 353 was calculated. Power analysis results are 184 degrees. At the end of the research, N = 222 operating room nurses were reached. Research data were collected from nurses with at least one year of operating room experience who agreed to participate in the research by obtaining participant information and consent forms on the online platform via Google Forms, using the Revised Perceived Perioperative Nursing Competency Scale. The analysis of the data obtained was made using the SPSS-26 Windows package program. Research data were presented for statistical analysis using t test, ANOVA (Post Hoc Tukey and Games Howell) tests. When compared according to the education levels of nurses, the proficiency level of nurses with high school and associate degree degrees was found to be higher than those with bachelor's degree degrees.
