Abstract (EN)

In this thesis study, we examine the home schooling in America as an alternative educational model that has been a common alternative to the modern educational institutions and applications in several countries recent years. Home schooling is not only an alternative education application or preference but it is also an area that alternative education approaches are practiced in. In the contrast to the institutional understanding, home schooling focuses on the individual, his/her needs and interests, reduces the static application to the minimum. Homeschooled students don?t have any difficulty or prevent of registering to the higher education even when they don?t have any official diploma. Parents prefer home schooling more in order to provide a better academic and social environment for their children.
