The problems and the solution of suggestions which anatolian high school of fine arts students encounter in the musical hearing-reading and writing lesson

This research aims to find out the problems that the students encounter in the musical hearing-reading and writing lesson at Anatolian High School Of Fine Arts and to suggest solutions to these problems.The research is a descriptive one which is based on the literature searching model directed to determine current situation and it is prepared by the methods of searching sources and applying questionnare. The result of the analyzed data which is collected with the questionnaires is converted into percentages and frequency tables.The population of the study is the senior students of the 2006 term in Anatolian High School Of Fine Arts in Turkey and the sample consists of 233 senior students from 15 Anatolian High School Of Fine Arts considering some criteria.The result of this research indicates that the materials and the sources for the musical hearing-reading-writing lesson are insufficient, the number of this lesson per week should be increased and how and in which way this lesson should be studied is not known by the students. In addition, the result of the research suggests solutions to teach this lesson to the students more efficiently and effectively.
