A research on Anadolu University Faculty of Business Administration students' entrepreneurial intention and environmental attitude

It is the civic responsibility for all humans including all kinds of institutions created by them to respect nature. However, the situation, which the world is in today, reflects that humanity has not succeeded in this duty. The entrepreneurs carrying out manufacturing and service operations have a big role in the picture. Therefore, it bears importance that entrepreneurs have positive attitudes towards the environment and obey environmental regulations internalizing them with their reasons. To this end, this research aims at measuring 1056 potential entrepreneurs' entrepreneurial intentions and attitudes towards the environment to find the ways of raising awareness and sensitivity about nature among potential entrepreneurs and contributing to creating more environmentally sensitive entrepreneurs before they start their businesses. The research is descriptive. The data gathered was analyzed with SPSS V23.0 according to the research questions. The statistical analysis shows that students' entrepreneurial intention level is high whereas their environmental attitude is not positive. Finally, a report on how to fill this gap by education and e-learning opportunities has been prepared and presented to the senior management.
