Abstract (EN)

Anatolia which combines the Eastern and the Western civilizations hosts not only the gods but also the goddess in its heart. We understand by the help of the god sculptures made of lime stones which were found as a result of the archeological digs that in the Neolithic Age the goddess hadn?t been seen during the age but the gods exist.Anatolian people began to live with the Mother Goddess in the Neolithic Age that was 9000 years ago from present and they elected her as the creative power of people, animals, plants and the whole nature in other words. They made Her immortal by putting Her figures in the temple and the cult centers. Anatolian civilization showed it on the Mother goddess figures and idols that it was affected by the southeastern Europe, Aegean world and the Mesopotamian civilizations. These figures gradually had warm and sympathetic appearance by getting rid of the foreign elements. In the Neolithic Age, the Mother goddessandanimals was formed together; later, it was formed individually in the Chalcolithic Age. In both two ages, however, reproductive organs were made exaggeratedly. It had normal female body size in the Bronze Age. Especially in this age the Mother goddess was formed as idols and used as amulets and jewellery. In the Iron Age, on the other hand, woman revealed all her female features and beauty with her real body sizes. As a result, the Mother goddess who is called with lots of different names, chose Anatolia as her home with her lover Attis.
