Abstract (EN)

In our global world, the companies are supposed to have the ability of competition expeditiously with their competitors on the market so that all sorts of commercial activities can keep up. At this competition atmosphere, the companies are able to provide competitive advantages with various methods such as offering high quality products, presenting their products to the market in a faster way, always keeping their existence on the market, going into the market with the competitive prices or providing low inputs.Contemporarily, the cost of productions have been carrying approximate values. In such an atmosphere that the costs of production carrying approximate values, concentrating logistic activities have become more of an issue in order to provide competition advantage. It is important to be searched and analyzed which activities may have competitiveness the most by way of examining logistic process.In this study, the importance of transportation is referred examining logictic activities, and alternative routes are determined for general cargo transportation between Mersin- Torino route. The criterions related with choosing the best alternative are decided and the best route is tried to be determined being evaluated with the help of Super Decision Programme and Analitic Network Process approach.
