Unforgettable use of maintenance insurance, people's attitudes to deceive the social security system: Ankara province example

Social security is a social policy tool that has been needed since the existence of the individual. Like all social policy instruments, the condition for effective implementation of social security practices depends on financial support. A policy without an allowance cannot be implemented. The distribution of the allowance is as important as its supply. The unfair gains of the people who benefit from the system will cause them to benefit less or less from those who really need it. In this study, the benefits received by individuals within the scope of maternity insurance regulated in the Social Insurance and General Health Insurance Law No. 5510, which is in force in Turkey, are explained, and the undue allowances received by the beneficiaries are examined. Content analyzes of the reports prepared by the inspectors working within the body of SGK in the province of Ankara, about the subjects of the investigation, were made using the qualitative data analysis method. The origin of the investigation, its execution, the statements of individuals have been discussed, and the measures that can be taken for the process in the face of learning the tendencies of the individuals have been evaluated.
