Abstract (EN)
Since analogue filter and sinusoidal oscillator circuits have a wide range of applications in electronic and communication systems, these circuits are indispensable in signal processing applications. Therefore, studies on analogue filters and sinusoidal oscillators have always attracted attention, and in recent years, the number of studies based on new generation active circuit elements has increased day by day and it has become important to be compatible with the IC technique depending on technological developments. This thesis consists of creating new analogue filter and sinusoidal oscillator topologies by circuit synthesis, realizing the circuits obtained with these topologies as MOS-C in accordance with the IC technique, and performance analysis of these circuits with PSpice simulation programme. In order to realize the circuits as MOS-C and electronically adjustable, the implementation methods of passive resistors with MOS transistors were examined and techniques related to eliminating nonlinear effects in the implemented resistors were used. After introducing the new generation active circuit elements used in the proposed topologies and performing the theoretical analysis of the implemented circuits, the results obtained with the PSpice simulation programme are compared, the operability of the circuits is verified and the performance levels are shown. In some circuits, analysis work has been carried out for non-ideal cases of the active element used. The thesis study is also supported by simulation programme using macromodel parameters of commercially available ICs in some proposed topologies, and an experimental study for the current operational amplifier element to be realized by current conveyor ICs and operated in a filter circuit. Comparative studies have shown how the performance level of the circuit can be improved by using composite structure in current conveyor based circuits. In circuit design, multi-functional filter circuits that provide more than one filter type with the same topology are generally obtained. It is aimed that the circuits designed in this way operate less number of active and passive elements, have features such as lower cost and lower power consumption. In addition, sensitivity analyzes of cutoff frequency in filters and oscillation frequency in sinusoidal oscillators to passive elements of the circuits were made. In the implemented oscillator circuits, it has been tried to ensure that the oscillation frequency is independent of the oscillation condition and can be adjusted electronically, and the phase error in quadature sinusoidal oscillators is kept as low as possible.
