Abstract (EN)

Cinema is an art form in which music and color are used abundantly for similar purposes; like symbolic representation or narrative construction. This thesis aims to present methods for comparing their use in cinema and reveal any possible correlation. Based on a comprehensive research on music and color, the use of these two elements are analyzed in two example films: Tom Ford's "Nocturnal Animals" and Nicolas Winding Refn's "The Neon Demon". As a result of the analyses, the correlations are presented. Additionally, recommendations are given on different manners of using music and color together in films or other art forms.
