Investigation of the relationship between social anxiety, parental anxiety and psychological assistance search behaviors of children with kindergarten school: X municipality kindergarten sample

This study aims to examine the relationship between social anxiety, parental anxiety and psychological help-seeking behaviors in a sample of adults with children in kindergarten. The sample of the research, which is based on the relational screening model, is the parents living in Avcılar province and going to most kindergartens. In the process of determining the sample of the research, appropriate sampling method was used. The sample determined in this direction consists of 286 people living in Avcılar In order to obtain the data of the research, "Personal Information Form", "Liebowıtz Social Anxiety Scale", "Parental Anxiety Scale" and "Attitude Scale for Getting Psychological Help" were used. SPSS statistics program was used to analyze the obtained data. At the end of the study, it was found that there is a significant relationship between the attitudes of parents with children in kindergarten towards getting psychological help and social anxiety and parenting anxiety. In addition, it was found that the attitude towards receiving psychological help, social anxiety and parenting anxiety differed according to age, education level, education level and income level of the spouse, but not according to the status of receiving psychological help support.
