Abstract (EN)

With the development of communication technology in recent years, there has been a significant increase in the studies on remote control of machines. In the light of these developments, remote and wireless control of electrical machines has become an important field of study both in home applications and industry. In addition to smart home applications, many systems used in the industry use electrical machines. It is desirable that electrical machines can be precisely controlled at low costs and at high efficiency. In this context, direct current (DC) motor is the preferred electrical machine in many applications due to its high efficiency, precise control, fast response, economic cost and remote-control parameters. Many devices such as phones / tablets which are based Android / IOS operating system can be used for remote wireless control of electrical machines due to their Bluetooth, WiFi or GPRS capabilities. In this context, remote speed control and speed monitoring of the DC motor with a device with Android operating system is the main subject of this thesis. In this thesis, it is provided to monitor and display the motor speed with the interface software developed in addition to the remote speed control of the DC motor with a device with Android operating system. In addition, transfer function was obtained by mathematical modeling of DC motor. PI (Proportional-Integral) control method is used for speed control of DC motor. After the simulation studies of the speed control of the modeled DC motor were completed, the experimental studies were carried out and the results were given.
