Plant material was TARM-92, which is a 2 row variety of barley. Threedifferent types of drills (pneumatic, ordinary and roller wheel), two roller application(roller after sowing and without roller) and six sowing rates (175 seeds/m2=8.3kg/da, 300 seeds/m2=14.3 kg/da, 425 seeds/m2=20.2 kg/da, 550 seeds/m2=26.1 kg/da,675 seeds/m2=32.1 kg/da and 800 seeds/m2=38.0 kg/da) were used. Experiment wasdesigned in a split split plot design with 3 replications.According to results of the experiment, seed drill types and roller applicationsignificantly effected number of tillers per plant, number of spikes per m2, spikelength, number of kernels per spike, kernel yields per spike, total yield, grain yield, harvest index, 1000 seed weight, hectoliter weight and crude protein rate. Whileincreasing sowing rates reduced heading time; number of tillers per plant, kernelyield per plant, kernel yield of spikes, 1000 seed weight, crude protein rate andkernel volumes reduced; and plant height, number of spikes per m2, total yield andgrain yield increased significantly. Highest yield was obtained from ordinary drill x550 seeds/m2 sowing rate interactions in both of the years with 476.73 kg/da.It was determined that sowing rate of 425-550 seeds/m2 with ordinary orpynomathic drill together was the best practice for TARM-92 barley variety.Key Words: Barley, Seed Drill, Roller Application, Sowing Rate, Yield andYield Components
