Abstract (EN)

In this study, it was targeted to adapt the test method for the determination of acetamiprid, clothiyanidin, imidacloprid, thiamethoxam and thiacloprid residues in filtered honey, to investigate neonicotinoid residues with the adapted method, to evaluate the results in terms of food safety and public health. In accordance with the European Commission Decision 2002/657/EC, the liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS) method of analysis of the five neonicotinoids in honey was developed and fully validated simultaneously, quickly and reliably. As a result of the study, CCα and CCβ were respectively 5.44 and 5.89 ng/g for Acetamiprid, 5.23 and 5.46 ng/g for Clothianidin, 5.15 and 5.30 ng/g for Imidacloprid, and for Thiamethoxam, respectively. 5.16 and 5.32 ng/g were found as 20.28 and 20.56 ng/g for Thiacloprid. After the method validation parameters were provided, the presence of neonicotinoid residues exceeding the maximum residue limits could not be determined in 60 honey samples offered for sale in Ankara. It has been concluded that my adapted method can be used in a short time, using less chemicals, effective, reliable, sensitive, reproducible, and can be used and advantageous because more than one analyte can be analyzed simultaneously.
