Abstract (EN)

Today, soil pollution is one of the most important problems affecting the environment and human health. Although there are many factors affecting soil pollution, heavy metals have a very important place. The reason for this is that some heavy metals have toxic effects even at very low concentrations and cause heavy metal accumulation in plants and living things. Soil, one of the indispensable elements of the life of living things, is the main food source of plants. Our soils are getting more and more polluted day by day and cause serious environmental problems. Due to rapidly developing industrial activities, modern agricultural techniques and vehicle traffic density, heavy metal pollution is seen in our soils. In this study, 20 different sampling stations were determined in the agricultural soils located within the borders of Ankara Province Yenimahalle, and a total of 60 soil samples were taken, three different soil depths of 0-15 cm, 15-30 cm and 30-45 cm. It was aimed to determine the heavy metal pollution level in agricultural soils by analyzing the parameters of Ga, Ca, Al, Fe, K, Mg, Mn, Na, Co, Cd, Cr, Cu, Ni, Pb, Zn and V in these soil samples.
