Abstract (EN)
In this study, using semantic web techniques a GPS based, context-aware mobile application has been developed. The mobile application communicates with a central system that hosts the data modeled by the semantic web techniques. Therefore, user information and information on the environment are sent to the central system. The data stored in the central system and the data received from the user are processed using the semantic web query techniques, and context-aware information thus created by these techniques is sent to the mobile client. With the present application, information that could only be obtained through long and retrospective work through traditional methods is created automatically using context-aware methods and served to the users. Through the use of the present application, personalized information can be obtained in a shorter time at a reduced cost. Further, the data classification for facilitating sharing of the data is obtained.
