Determination of patient satisfaction in the context of mother- baby friendly hospital standards (SKS-version 6): Çorlu State Hospital example

Health has been an indispensable element for living things and humanity has constantly improved itself in this context. Various studies have been carried out in the field of health in our country, and since the 1980s, health reforms have been needed due to the problems in the health system, and the Health Transformation Program started to be implemented in 2003. The Health Transformation Program has adopted the principle of 'Health for all'. Sanctions aiming to provide equal health for everyone to the individual continued with the Quality Systems in Health (SKS). SKS, whose versions are published periodically, has been updated with the latest SKS Version 6. Thus, Turkey has reached a level that both produces and controls health. The aim of this study; It is to examine the projects that started with the Transformation in Health in Turkey and developed with the Quality Systems in Health, in terms of institutions providing health services and individuals receiving health services. For this purpose, in this study, the Mother-Baby-Friendly Hospital projects were taken into account and the necessary conditions for the institutions to receive the title of Mother-Baby-Friendly Hospital were evaluated. The study consists of 3 parts. In the first part, the basic concepts of health, health services and their classification, the characteristics of health services are discussed and given with explanations. In the second part, the programs that started with the Health Reform and continued with the plans and the Quality Standards in Health (SKS) and their versions, as well as the studies, features and classifications of Mother-Baby-friendly hospital standards were discussed. In the third chapter; A survey was conducted with 250 mothers who had just given birth in Çorlu State Hospital, which has the title of Mother-Baby Friendly Hospital by adhering to the Normal and Cesarean Delivery Mother Satisfaction Scale, and the results were discussed in tables with its sub-dimensions for demographic, descriptive and satisfaction levels and their interpretations. has been made. As a result, the satisfaction rates of mothers who had Normal and Cesarean births were found to be high.
