Abstract (EN)
In this study, it was aimed to examine the effects of perceived stress level and marital satisfaction of mothers with 36-72 months old children on the mother's attitude towards the feeding process. Correlational scanning model was used in the research. The sample of the study consists of 270 mothers with children between the ages of 36-72 months. Demographic information form, Marriage Life Scale, Perceived Stress Scale-10 and Mother's Attitudes Towards the Feeding Process Scale were used to collect data. As a result of the study, it was seen that the mother's marital satisfaction and perceived stress level had an effect on the mother's attitude towards the feeding process. In the study, it was examined whether the variables of marital satisfaction, perceived stress level, mother's attitude towards the feeding process differ according to the demographic characteristics of the participants. As a result of the findings, it was found that the mother's attitude towards the feeding process and marital satisfaction differed according to the demographic variables, and the perceived stress level did not differ according to the demographic variables. Finally, it has been determined that perceived stress has a mediating role in the effect of marital satisfaction on the feeeding process. When the literature was examined, no study was found in which these variables were examined together. For this reason, it is thought that this study will provide new information about the feeding process, which is a basic relationship between mother and child. Key Words: marital satisfaction, perceived stress, feeding, parental attitudes
