Situation of Antalya's yoruks in local politics

Nomads/Yoruks in Antalya are the roots of citizen?s history and culture. Most of Antalya?s citizens were nomads/yoruks in history, but they moved to center from villages and started to split from their nomad/yoruk culture. Nomads/Yoruks are generally known as a nation, but nomads/yoruks should be known as a culture. Nomads/Yoruks history is contemporary with Seljuq Empire, Ottoman Empire and Republic of Turkey and they played an important role about to be Turkized of Balkans and Anatolia. Nomads/Yoruks keep up with their special production systems under hard conditions and they made their cultures to be lived till these days.In political field, Yoruks generally didn?t make politics with their roots in general politics but they made workings in local politics. Research thesis that Antalya is chosen as an area aims to see what Yoruks made as elector, politician and civic culture and intends to continue of Yoruks culture and see what they made and can make in local politics.
