Abstract (EN)

This research aims to examine the organizational commitment levels of coaches according to the visionary leadership behaviors they perceive from sports managers. The research is composed of literature review and application sections. Within the scope of the literature research, visionary leadership and organizational commitment issues were discussed. When it comes to the application part of the study in which the relational screening model is applied, the research group includes a total of 114 football coaches, 106 men and 8 women, among the football coaches working in sports clubs affiliated with Tekirdağ ASKF. A survey method was applied to the coaches within the scope of obtaining the necessary data for the study. In the first part of the survey form, general information questions about the demographic variables of the coaches were asked, and in the second part, the Visionary Leadership Scale developed by Çınar and Kaban (2012) and the Organizational Commitment Scale developed by Meyer and Allen (1991) and used by İşcan and Naktiyok (2004) were used. As a result of the research, a significant relationship was found between the organizational commitment levels of coaches and the visionary leadership behaviors they perceived from sports managers. It has been concluded that as the visionary leadership behaviors of sports managers increase, the organizational commitment levels of coaches also increase.
