Abstract (EN)
Arabic literature influenced the literature of many nations, and that influence still exists in the words and behaviors that those literatures inspired by it. And this led to the linking of literature to Arabic literature. It was connected to that nation by the Arabs' means of war and commerce. From time to time, the Arabs established their dominance over them and spread their religion. Thus, the supremacy of the Arabs led to the spread of the Arabic language, which was taught over the years in those countries, and some of which were still taught; The spread of Islam was another long-term factor; The supremacy and influence of Arabic literature remained for a long time because Arabic literature developed and other literatures fell behind. The story is a narrative literary art and is considered one of the arts of Arabic literature. And we always see it on a certain context, prosir or poem expressed by the person in two ways: narrative or fairy tale. And unreal events or facts, and some of them are real, honest, and their purpose is to entertain or advise and guide. Comparative literature examines the phenomenon of interaction and influence between Arabic literature and other literatures such as French literature, Persian literature, German literature and other Western literatures. It also demonstrates the importance of this influence in developing national literature, developing social convergence between people and nations, and keeping it free from the singularity and racism that was common at that time. From the Umayyad period to the modern era, translation played a major role in the development of story art and played an important role in the development of this art and its transfer to the West and other nations. Due to the mixing of Arab culture with foreign cultures such as Persian, Assyrian, Greek and Indian, the perceptions of writers expanded during the Umayyad and Abbasian periods; this is seen as a result of the mixing of races. Thus, the author has a specific goal, as well as the method of processing the spirit of pleasure and enjoyment within the recipient, which is similar to those found in the modern age. Topics covered by both stories: It was diverse, in Arabic and Western, and one of them was the so-called (myth) story told from the language of the animal, a story of moral and educational quality, told in a unique literary language. Keywords: Arabic story, Western story, influence and interaction, comparative literature.
