Abstract (EN)
In this study, the soil carbon mineralization of Armillaria mellea (Vahl) P. Karst. and Tricholoma cedretorum (Bon) A. Riva fungi growing naturally in Hasanbeyli district of Osmaniye and the same soils added the different doses of mushroom powder (1/1X, 1/2X and 1/4X equivalent to the soil carbon content) was searched. Some physical and chemical properties and the 42-day carbon mineralization values by CO2 respiration method of A. mellea and T. cedretorum soils were determined. Fungi mixed in 1/1X, 1/2X and 1/4X ratios equivalent to soil carbon in each of the soils increased the microorganism activity in both soils. Higher carbon mineralization was observed in A. mellea mixed soil compared to T. cedretorum soil. In addition, when the 1/1 X, 1/2X and 1/4X doses of both mushroom soils were compared among themselves, it was found that the difference between them was not significant (P>0.05). When the soils were evaluated in terms of carbon mineralization ratios, it was determined that the highest activity was found in Armillaria compared to Tricholoma at all doses. In the light of all these findings, it might be concluded that microorganisms use mushroom additions as a source of organic matter.
