Abstract (EN)
Within the scope of the thesis, the existing risks within the Tahtalı (Görece) Drinking Water Treatment Plant, which obtains drinking water from the Tahtalı Dam, which is the largest surface water source of Izmir, have been identified and the risk assessment methods have been applied integrally in terms of process and environment working conditions. In terms of process, HAZOP method was used, pressure and flow parameters were evaluated. In terms of environment and working conditions, FINE - KINNEY method was used and many dangerous factors such as lifting tools, welding works, electrical works, working with chemicals, working at height, working indoors, laboratory works, chlorination barrel storage and filter press equipment were evaluated. This integrated work has brought maximum benefit in terms of identifying and eliminating risks, and an action guide has been put forward including the measures to be taken to facilitate the establishment of healthy and safe working environments.
