Abstract (EN)
In this study, firstly the existing safety gear systems used in elevators are analyzed. It is clear that constantly changing and developing technological conditions increase the need for safety equipment. In addition to changing technological conditions, at the same time the social conditions have changed, the need for safety equipment with increased safety in elevator has increased. In this thesis, the braking mechanisms used in elevators and elevator stop equipments were analyzed. Next, a new generation of lifts, and an electromechanical controlled elevator brake mechanism for future needs were developed. After the preliminary prototype work, the deficiencies in the design were eliminated and then the prototype production was realized. The most important thing that distinguishes the developed brake from the others is that the control is electromechanical and there is no need for an extra regulator in the system. Key Words: Elevator, safety gear, electromechanical safety gear, safety equipment, new generation elevator safety gear design.
