Abstract (EN)
In this thesis, the design of a new method for the determination of the molecule of asymmetric dimethylarginine (ADMA), an amino acid derivative which has a biomarker potential, was investigated. In recent studies, asymmetric dimethylarginine (ADMA) has been found to be related to many clinical conditions, especially cardiovascular diseases. The determination of ADMA as a new approach in the diagnosis, treatment and control of these diseases has gained importance. The disadvantages of existing ADMA detection methods and their usability in routine analysis increase the need for new methods. As a cardiovascular risk marker, the determination method of ADMA should be reliable, specific, rapid and low cost. For these purposes, it was aimed to develop ADMA aptamers and then design the fluorescence based determination method.
