Abstract (EN)

In this study, the biology of Planococcus ficus (Signoret) (Hemiptera: Pseudococcidae) was investigated on different vine varieties under laboratory conditions. In Yalova İncisi, one of the grapevine varieties of P. ficus, the mean generation time (T0) 31.6 ± 0.96 days, net reproductive rate (Ro) 32.3 ± 9.99 female / female / offspring , the intrinsic rate of increase (r) 0 , 1 ± 0.01 female / female / day, the total reproduction rate (GRR) was determined as 99.1 ± 16.99. In Emir, the mean generation time (T0) 38,4±1,22 days, net reproductive rate (Ro) 40,8±11,53 female/female/ offspring the intrinsic rate of increase (r) 9,7±0,01 female/female/day, the total reproduction rate (GRR) was determined as 155,1±12,14. As a result of the laboratory studies of P. ficus, a life chart was created for 4 different grape varieties (Emir, Kalecik Karası, Yalova İncisi, Trakya İlkeren) and it was determined that the most suitable host plants for this pest are Emir and Yalova İncisi. Consequently, in Turkey obtain data about the biology of this type that creates damage on the vine.
