In the post-National Independence War period, led under the commandership of Atatürk, while establishing a new state on Anatolian territory, this state got his legal andpolitical existence accepted on the international stage with Lausanne Treaty. This state?s, established with a completely different identification apart from Ottoman Empire, new struggle includes also a battle for culturely freedom. Withhistory and language concepts, the keystones of national culture, this new stateaims to reset the nationalidentification values and display them implicitly. In this sense whiledisplaying the Turkish History and the Turkish Language, which were neglectedand condemned into darknes, and it was tried to display that the negativesenses weren?t presenting the truth. So that antithesis against unfair claimswere formed against Turkism and Anatolian Geography and Turkish History Thesisand Turkish Linguistics Thesis were developed to prove the legitimacy of Turks.After the death of Atatürk, a new period started in Republic History along with İsmet İnönü?s becoming President. Compared with previousperioad, this perioad persistence in some cases and tendency in some cases, thehumanism understanding and applications took the nationalism approach, thecultural understanding of Atatürk period especially since 1940, so that atending towardsLatin-Greek culture started and the Turkish and Latin-Greekcultures were composed and a Turkish Humanism was aimed. This understading reverberated into history and language, the important elements culture, in an inevitable way. Instead of Middle Asian History understanding, Anatolian and Ancient Period History understanding replaced with the excavation studies. While eliminating Arabian and Persiancentred words, the space was tried to replace with west-originated or newlyreproduced words. This study The Turkish History and the Turkish Linguistics Association under the principles of Atatürk-İnönü Period Cultural Policies, itwas aimed to present the studies of these two associations in both periods and the evaluations of these studies within the cultural policies.
