Abstract (EN)

In this study; the results of 6 years afforestation studies of Turkish red pine, black pine and Cedar species in Atatürk Forest Farm in Ankara province, were examined. Since Cedar and Turkish red pine, which is used in afforestation, are outside the natural distribution area (marginal population), it is important to determine the land adaptation and growth and development results compared to naturally distrubuted species of black pine. According to the results of analysis of variance; seedling height and root collar diameter of species statisticaly differed (p<0.05) from each other. Black pine saplings showd the highest diameter growth at the end of 6 years, followed by cedar and Turkis red pine saplings. On the other hand, Turksih red pine seedlings had the highest height growth rate while black pine seedlings had the lowest height growth rate.
