Veysel TOPFirat UniversityThe Institute of Social SciencesDepartment of Educational SciencesJuly 2006, Page: XII + 121The aim of this study is to determine the opinions of teachers and administrators aboutEuropean Union Education and Youth Programmes. In this direct, this research designed as adescriptive study and survey method used to determine the opinions of teachers andadministrators to European Union Education and Youth Programmes.The participants in this study were chosen randomly from five educational regions ofElazığ city centre. There were 78 schools in the five educational regions of Elazığ city centre.The sample of this research constituted of teachers and administrators which functioned in 40schools of these educational regions of Elazığ city centre.The major findings in this study indicated that; most of the participants neverbenefited from the European Union Education and Youth Programmes. As well as theresearch shown that most of the participants? information and skill levels related with the EUEducation and Youth Programmes were insufficient.There weren?t find any significant differences between teachers and administratorsrelated with the informational levels before and after European Union Education and YouthProgrammes.Keywords: European Union, European Union Education and Youth Programmes,Socrates, Leonardo da Vinci, Youth, Arion.
