Abstract (EN)
Intellectual property rights are the significant issues in today?s world. That issue started to attract great attention due to the affect of globalization. There are a lot of international treaties about the intellectual property rights. National economics manage to develop by technological improvements.Although intellectual property rights consist of industrial rights and copyright, in the European Union law system intellectual property rights include patents, design rights, trademarks, copyrights, trade secrets which affect organization of the markets. Intellectual property rights have two major groups called industrial rights and copyrights.The concept of industrial property is the definition of the right that protects the first implementers who use industrial and agricultural inventions, new and unique designs. Industrial property rights include patents, trademarks, industrial designs, geographical signs and the topography of integrated circuit. All governments give a big importance to patent right and its protection.There are a lot of works in the European Union about the Intellectual property rights and their protections. The aim of these works is reaching a uniform protection. Some new concepts were already found by these works and there is still a work to find a new patent system.In 1997, Commission found out Green Paper to help works about the common patent system. In 2000, some new works helped the common patent system to develop in European Union.In our country, there is still some arrangements about the protection of intellectual property rights and also the protection of patent rights.
