The effect of European Union membership process on the Turkey nation state structure

Since 17. century, some very important events, like the developing of capitalism,resolving of feudal social structure, economical, cultural and intellectual changes, caused ahuge social evolution and eventually the fact of nation raised and the fact of nationformalized the nation-stateOn the other hand, through the end of the 20. century, the forms of nation statelost their sufficiency, because of capitalism needs to reach the new markets around the world.For that reason the fact of globalization raised. At this process, many international andsupranational organization was found, so an international system exist which threatens thenation-state sovereignty.So, the aim of this study is to discuss the changes, which occurred at the nation-state structure of Turkey, during the process of European Union membership.
