Prof. Dr. Seyhan TASeptember 2005, 210 pagesCommon Commercial Policy (CCP) is one of the common policy thatEuropean Union?s improved. In this study, the aim and the means of ATP is stated.With these means, free trade is developed among the member ountries of Union andcommon rules are constituted about the foreign trade with third countries. Turkey, athird country for EU, with Ankara Agreement, has entered the harmony process ofpolicies that is necessary for full membership. Customs Union is constituted amongTurkey and EU for providing harmonisation through trade policy. Also, Turkey is theonly country which has joined Customs Union while it is a candidate country. Alsoin this study, the aims and means within the context of CCP which areaccommodated or not accommodated by Turkey since 1963 is stated, and Turkey?scommercial relationship with the third countries is investigated within the context of.Key words: European Union, Common foreıgn trade policy, Turkey
