Abstract (EN)
Financial inclusion, also known as financial participation, is a topic we are seeing more frequently today. Minimizing financial exclusion is a common concern for many countries. It is crucial to provide a detailed explanation of financial inclusion and develop the literature with up-to-date data. Financial inclusion facilitates participation in financial production, enabling a more efficient allocation of resources. In this context, the study aims to create a Financial Inclusion Index (FII) for a total of 26 countries, comparing EU countries and Turkey between 2004 and 2023.
