Abstract (EN)

Execution of the decisions of the European Court of Human Rights is one of the most important tools that enable the countries that are party to the European Convention on Human Rights to adapt their domestic laws and practices to the convention within the framework of the violation decisions given by the European Court of Human Rights. The Committee of Ministers supervises whether the decisions of the European Court of Human Rights are implemented by the states that are parties. States parties are obliged to inform the Committee of Ministers on the execution of judgments of the European Court of Human Rights. Thus, the party country will work to compensate for the violation of the applicant for the execution of the decision, to correct the issues that led to the violation, and to prevent similar violations that will occur later. The European Court of Human Rights has signed many violation decisions regarding our country until today. For this reason, our domestic law will witness important developments with the implementation of the decisions of the European Court of Human Rights.
