Abstract (EN)

Art serves as a medium for artists to express their inner emotions while simultaneously functioning as historical documentation within society. One of the most prevalent geometric curves found in nature is the spiral form, which has appeared in various forms since prehistoric times. This form, which emerges as a curve that progressively expands or contracts around a central point on a plane, creating an axis, can be found in numerous fields such as art, science, and medicine. This study, titled "THE USE OF SPIRAL FORM IN THE CONTEXT OF COMPOSITION IN EUROPEAN PAINTING," explores the use of spiral form in the context of composition within the art of painting. Key words: Painting, art, golden ratio, fibonacci, spiral.
