Abstract (EN)
The aim of this study is to examine the effect of 4 weeks of sole massage applications on the explosive strength of the students after fatigue. The study was planned as an experimental research, and the participants' pre-post test measurements were taken. In the application groups, sole massage applications were applied once in the first week, twice in the remaining 3weeks, a total of 7times, each lasting 10minutes. No application was applied to the control group. Height, weight, big toe strength, ankle joint range of motion, pulse, lactate values of all participants were determined. Fatigue was provided with a 20m shuttle run; vertical jump(VJ) and foot reaction measurements were made. Descriptive statistics, one way anova, and two-way analysis of variance in repeated measurements were used in the analysis of the study. Tukey/Tamhane's T2 tests were used as post hoc tests. In the findings of the study, the difference between the groups in DF, ABK and pre-test pre-run pulse values is significant (p<0.05). In the Nelson foot reaction test, no significant difference was found between the groups in both the pre-test and post-test (p>0.05). In the post-test, the change in the hands-on-waist VJ results within the group was significant with respect to time, and the VJ values increased significantly immediately after the massage and 10minutes after the massage in the RG and MT groups. There was no significant difference in the free VJ values with arms after running, both in the values within the group and between the groups (p>0.05). As a result, no acute effect was observed with the applications applied to the sole of the foot in both groups after the run, but the VJ distance also increased after fatigue as a result of the 4-week application. There was no difference in the foot reaction in these time periods.
