Abstract (EN)

In order to carry out land consolidation and on-farm development services in a coordinated manner throughout Turkey, the Land Consolidation and On-Farm Development Services Department was established within the General Directorate of State Hydraulic Works and all consolidation projects were given the authority and responsibility of this administration. This study aimed to evaluate the post-consolidation production situation in the Aydın Yenipazar Plain by evaluating the effects on production value under the conditions where land consolidation, which is one of the on-farm development services, and irrigation projects are implemented together. The villages of Yenipazar, Alanlı, Kırklar, Gödrenli, Dalama, Alhan, Çulhan, Dereköy and Hamzabali, which cover a total area of 4 389 ha in the Aydın Yenipazar Plain and where land consolidation and in-field development services have been completed, were used as study material. Production values were calculated using the standardized gross value of production (SGVP) for the total irrigated area and standardized gross value of production per unit irrigated area (SGVPirrigated) indicators, which are among the agricultural production efficiency evaluation criteria developed by IWMI. In calculating these values, DSI 21st Regional Directorate and Akçay Irrigation Association records were used. In the study area, the impact of land consolidation works on production activities began to be seen especially after 2016. In the nine villages examined, the highest SGVP was found in Yenipazar as 1 872 104.0 $ in 2021, and the lowest in Alanlı village as 65 831.2 $ in 2015. It was determined that there was an increase of 2-4 times in the SGVPirrigated values determined in the study area from 2011 to 2021, and it was observed that the highest SGVPirrigated values in all the villages occurred in 2021. It was determined that there was an increase in SGVPirrigated values as the effect of the on-farm development services that took place after the land registration of the land consolidation project completed in 2011 in the consolidation area began to be seen after 2016 and the irrigation rates gradually increased.
