Abstract (EN)

Objective: Analyzing leaf samples to assess the nutritional status of crops cultivated in the Koçarlı and İncirliova districts of Aydın province, and subsequently implementing informed and tailored fertilization practices based on identified deficiencies or excesses of essential plant nutrients in accordance with the specific needs of the plants. Material and Method: The sampling point was determined by dividing it into 2x1 km grids to represent Incirliova and Koçarlı districts of Aydın province. Leaf samples were taken from 96 sampling points determined from plants grown intensively in the regions and plant nutrient analysis; %dry matter, %Total Nitrogen, P, K, Ca, Mg, Na, Fe, Zn, Mn, Cu, B contents were determined. As a result of the analyses, nutritional status was determined according to the macro and micronutrient content of the plant leaves. Results: The analyses were conducted to examine the nutritional status of different plant species. Cotton plants exhibit deficiencies in nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium, while calcium and magnesium levels are generally sufficient. Micronutrients (copper, manganese, iron, and zinc) are typically at adequate levels. In corn plants, nitrogen deficiency is prevalent, along with potassium and calcium deficiencies. Micronutrients such as boron, copper, and manganese are generally met, but zinc levels vary. Sunflower plants generally have sufficient nitrogen, while phosphorus, potassium, calcium, and magnesium levels fluctuate. Among micronutrients, boron is adequate, copper is in excess, and iron and zinc are sufficient or excessive. Strawberries generally show adequacy in nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, calcium, and magnesium, while micronutrients such as boron are sufficient, but copper, manganese, iron, and zinc content varies. Grapevines display deficiencies in nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium, while calcium and magnesium levels fluctuate. In micronutrients, boron is sufficient, while copper, manganese, and iron are excessive. Figs exhibit deficiencies in nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, and magnesium, with variations in calcium. Micronutrients indicate sufficiency in boron, but copper, manganese, iron, and zinc are deficient or excessive. Olive trees showcase deficiencies in nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium, while calcium and magnesium levels are generally sufficient. Micronutrients indicate boron deficiency, but copper, manganese, iron, and zinc levels are sufficient or excessive. Plum trees exhibit deficiencies in nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, magnesium, with calcium levels showing variations. Micronutrients indicate sufficiency in boron, while copper, manganese, iron, and zinc levels fluctuate. Citrus plants display deficiencies in nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, and magnesium. Micronutrients indicate sufficiency in boron, but copper, manganese, iron, and zinc levels vary. Sesame plants lack nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, calcium, and magnesium, while iron, zinc, manganese, and copper levels are adequate. Conclusion: The results indicate the need for customized fertilization and maintenance strategies tailored to the nutritional requirements of each plant species. These findings hold guiding significance for crop growers. Strategic practices have been implemented with the aim of enhancing plant health and productivity. These tailored strategies hold significant importance in preserving plant health, promoting optimal growth, and increasing efficiency. They serve as a guide to achieving more successful outcomes in agricultural production. Key Word: Incirliova, Kocarli, Macro, Micro, Plant Nutrition
