A research on evaluation of the impact of rural development investments support program in Aydin region

The aim of this thesis is to evaluate the contribution of the "Rural Development Investment Support Program" to the agricultural sector in Aydın Province ve its impact on farmers. The main material of the research consists of the data obtained from the survey application forms carried out as face-to-face interviews with the producers selected from Çine, Karpuzlu, Germencik ve Sultanhisar Districts where the support program is implemented. In the survey study, 46 producers who benefited from the tool ve machinery support within the scope of the rural development support program in 2022 ve 2023 were interviewed ve questions were asked to them under different main headings about the support program. The producers were asked questions about employment before ve after the support, product productivity ve business profitability, determining the effect of the support program on the purchase of tools ve machinery, as well as what should be done to ensure that KKYDP is implemented ve more successful, the advantageous ve disadvantageous aspects of the program in question, ve the answers received were examined within the scope of the study. As a result of the research, it was seen that the equipment applied for grants were compatible with the agricultural pattern of the province ve the most important of these equipment were olive harvester, sprayer, milk cooling tank, rotovator, atomizer.Only 3 producers stated that the number of workers employed increased, while 37 producers stated that it did not change ve 6 enterprises stated that it decreased.Thus, it is seen that thanks to the machinery ve equipment purchased with the grant support, an important agricultural technology is brought to the agricultural enterprise ve labor is saved.16 farmers stated that productivity increased ve 30 farmers stated that it did not change, 17 farmers stated that agricultural income ve profitability increased ve 29 farmers stated that it did not change. No producer stated that productivity, agricultural income ve profitability decreased. At this stage, it can be explained that the increase in product yield with the machinery ve equipment support utilized at this stage reflects positively on agricultural income ve profitability. In general, it is understood that the producers are satisfied with the purchase of the machinery ve equipment they need with the grant support, there are after-sales service opportunities ve there is a certain order ve stability in grant payments. In addition, it has been determined that the producers think that bureaucratic procedures are still relatively intensive in project application, acceptance ve implementation processes ve that project preparation documents are not in a sufficiently understveable form.
