Abstract (EN)

Anxiety, when its symptoms and observed effects on the individual are evaluated, is the state of feeling fear and apprehension. As for, separation anxiety is a type of anxiety that is observed on children, it occurs as a result of separation from home or a connected person. While the distinct, repellent factors are being observed, the element that causes the state of "groundless fear" can be identified. Therefore, this change that makes progress and can be observed in childhood needs to be precluded before it proceeds. Separation Anxiety is a notion that has negative effects on children. The anxiety disorders that cannot be noticed in childhood can cause serious problems in the future. For this reason, the children in the age range of 5 to 10, who show indications of Separation Anxiety are examined in our study. The symptoms of Separation Anxiety and the depressive disorders likely to occur as a result of these symptoms, increase the significance of this topic. The 100 children who study 2014-2015 school year at Kindergartens and First grade of primary school, in the city of İstanbul in Kadıköy, Kartal and Pendik counties, are forming our study's sampling. In the study a sampling method has been used and after collecting research data the used scales have graded. The results are interpreted by the package software SPSS 20.00.
