Abstract (EN)

In this study, some macro and micro nutrients and some physical and chemical properties of the soil in the agricultural lands of the villages within the borders of Bilesuvar province of the Republic of Azerbaijan were evaluated. For this purpose, some macro and micro nutrient analyzes were made in soil samples taken from 267 different agricultural lands in Bilesuvar province and the results of these analyzes were compared with the nutrient limit values in the literature. As a result of the evaluations, the contents of available P, exchangeable K, Ca, Mg, available Fe, Cu, Zn and Mn in the soil content were found between the values of 25,9-437 mgkg-1, 688-3667 mgkg-1, 4480-95 579,4 mgkg-1, 627-3733 mgkg-1,20-158 mgkg-1, 2,6-21,5 mgkg-1; 0,6-11,9 mgkg-1 and 81-456 mgkg-1, respectively. Organic matter content was evaluated as 'low' in 50.93 % of the soils. It was determined that 63.30 % of the soils are calcareous, 71.16 % very salty and 95.13 % slightly alkaline. At the same time, plant nutrient contents of available phosphorus (P), exchangeable potassium (K), calcium (Ca) and manganese (Mn) were found to be 'too much' in soil samples. Available copper (Cu) and zinc (Zn) contents were found to be 'sufficient' in all soil samples, while iron (Fe) contents were found to be 'high'. Exchangeable magnesium (Mg) plant nutrient element was found to be 'excess' at the rate of 77.53 %. Keywords: Soil Fertility, Soil Analysis, Macro Nutrient Element, Micro Nutrient Element
