Abstract (EN)

This research was carried out in the vineyard determined in Midyat district of Mardin province in the development period of 2020 and Marzone , one of the local grape varieties, was used as the material in the experiment. The research was conducted on a total of 80 vines with 4 replications, 4 treatments (periods) (0, 3, 5 and 7 times) and 5 for each treatment according to the "Random Blocks" trial design. In the study, leaves were collected from healthy and close to each other and healthy vines for 3 periods, but no leaves were taken from control (witness) vines. The first leaf harvest was made after flowering in the vineyard, all the 4th, 5th and 6th leaves reaching 2/3 of the mature leaf from the tip on the shoot until the harvest time between 7-10 days were collected, but with the 2 leaves on the clusters, they lost their shape, color and integrity, unsuitable leaves were not collected. Pinching and topping on grapevines is not done. In order to determine the effects of removing leaf from vine on the development period, yield and quality of the crop, total dry matter soluble in must, total acidity, pH, must yield, growth, yield, and cluster and berry properties were studied in the laboratory. According to the evaluation of the available data, the removing leaf frequency did not make a statistical difference on development, yield, cluster and some berry characteristics.
