Abstract (EN)
This study includes reserve and grade analysis and modeling of Balya (Balıkesir) lead-zinc deposits using geostatistical methods.Database created by the drilling logs of the ore deposit. The data is converted into 5 m composite intervals. Both the original and the composite converted data showed that the data is highly right skewed distribution. Thus, the composite data was converted into logarithmic which showed lognormal distribution. Ordinary kriging applied to the lognormal distribution. Zonal and geometric anisotropy in different directions (NE and SW) and the geological trend in vertical directions have been identified in variogram analysis. The accuracy of variogram models were examined with graphical form and statistical analysis of cross validation tests.Reserve and grade the ore deposits the ore deposits were estimated in the study area. Ore distributions were modeled with two and three dimensional grade mapping. Validation parameters of the models were tested by correlation of kriging application results and original data. The test results were successful.
