Abstract (EN)
In this study, the morphologic characteristics (such as Pholidosis, body measurements and ratio) were studied in 64 samples of Dolichophis caspius that were collected previously and registered in ZDEU (Zoology Department, Ege University). According to the results of this study; the mean body length of D.caspius in Western Anatolia was determined as 796.27 (321- 1689,2) mm. The number of Ventralia change between 190-211 and the mean value is 200,06. The number of subcaudalia change between 90-113 in pairs and the mean value was 104, 57. In all of the studied samples, the scales on the middle part of the body were counted as 19 in all samples. There is no significant difference between the biometrical value of morphological characteristics of the studied materials and the values reported previously. According to morphological and pholodosis characteristics, the values of the studied materials are in accordance with the values reported previous literatüre.
