The analysis of Metomorphosis, Anayurt Hotel and The Blind Owl in term of modernism from east to west

As a movement Modernism, which was suggested by humanbeing who questioned everything in order to reunderstand of the world reflected on the field of literature. In this thesis, it is studied that how modern literary elements reflect on novel or long story from West to East. It is also examined in what ways the same terms, concepts are perceived by the eyes of three authors who lived in different areas. This thesis is also about a compare and contrast of three books: Metomorphosis which is the most important examples of modern narration by Franz Kafka, Motherland Hotel by Yusuf Atılgan who is the best authors of modern narration in Turkish literature and The Blind Owl by Sâdık Hidâyet who is the founder of modern Persian literature.The reason of choosing these books in this resarch paper is that all of three texts have the same elements of modern narration like the way of using the narrator, the terms of loneleness, alienation, failure? At the same time, the effect which Franz Kafka -who discussed the theme of alienation in the best way in the world literature - on Yusuf Atılgan and Sâdık Hidâyet is considered.Key words: Metomorphosis, Motherland Hotel, The Blind Owl, Modernism, time, place, alienation, loneleness, love and sexuality
