Abstract (EN)
This study was carried out with four replications according to the randomized complete block experimental design in 2020 in order to determine the yield and fiber technological properties of different cotton cultivars in Batman ecological conditions. According to the results, there were statistically significant differences among cotton cultivars in terms of plant height, number of sympodia, number of boll, fiber fineness, seed cotton yield and boll weight. Parameters such as number of monopodia, fiber length, fiber strength and ginning percentage did not show a significant difference between cultivars. When the seed cotton yield was examined, the highest value (452.50 kg da-1) was obtained in May 455 cultivar and the lowest value (385.00 kg da-1) was obtained in Flash cultivar Following the May 455, Edessa and Pg 2018 cultivars sharing the same statistical group gave the highest values, respectively (447.50 kg da-1, 441.25 kg da-1).
