Abstract (EN)

In this research, soil and leaf samples were taken from a total of 20 parks which have a grass area and located in Esenler district of İstanbul, were analyzed and the nutritional status of the grass was evaluated by statistical analysis. According to the findings, most of the on clay soils of district has a pH value of 6,86-8,57; salt amounts of 0,02-0,046%; lime amounts 0,00-11,53%. It was determined that the soil samples had an average of 2.163% in terms of their organic matter content and according to this result, they were classified as "The medium level organic matter containing soil." In terms of the average lime content of soils, field of grass areas in parks calcareous to ''limy'' class with 2.38% value. The average total N content of the soil samples is 0,102% , according to this value they were classified as "Soil containing sufficient levels of nitrogen." On the other hand, the average available P and exchangeable K, Ca and Mg contents of soils were 11,45 and 67,45; 7978 and 726,18 mg kg-1. The mean exchangeable Na and available Fe, Mn, Zn and Cu values of the soil samples were respectively 106,81 and 18,11; 11,46; 5,75 and 3,50 mg kg-1. According to the results of the statistical analysis, the relationship between all parameters analyzed between the soil used in the research is "significant" (P <0.01). Nitrogen contents of leaf samples were determined as the lowest level 20,29% and the highest level 31,69%. Then, P, K, Ca and Mg contents of the leaf samples from macro elements an average value were respectively 0,46%; 3,06%; 0,88% and 0,36%. The average Fe, Mn, Zn and Cu values of leaf samples were 1876,48; 65,55; 56,47 and 14,76 mg kg-1. According to the results of the statistical analysis, the relationship between all parameters analyzed between the vegetation used in the research is statistically "significant" (P <0.01). According to the analysis of soil and leaf in the grass areas in the parks, the applications such as fertilization, irrigation, spraying is extremely important in terms of healthy growth and longevity of grass
